Salary: £65,000 + Bonus (based on performance)

My client is a prestigious luxury care provider offering outstanding care services to residents in a beautiful, state-of-the-art environment. Their focus is on providing the highest level of care while maintaining a warm and supportive atmosphere for both their residents and staff. They are now looking for a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Registered Manager to join their team at our Dartford-based care home.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the delivery of excellent care and compliance with all regulatory standards. You will lead a dedicated team of staff, maintain high standards of service delivery, and work closely with families, staff, and external professionals to ensure the wellbeing of residents.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing a large team, providing guidance, training, and support to all staff members.
  • Ensuring the care home meets all CQC standards and achieving high ratings.
  • Taking a proactive approach to increasing occupancy, implementing strategies for marketing and community engagement.
  • Budget management and auditing to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring person-centred care is always a priority.
  • Ensuring effective communication across all levels of the service and with external stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Must have experience in managing medium to large care services, with a proven track record of managing large teams.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and an ability to ensure the home consistently meets high standards.
  • Ideally holds an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships and driving quality care.
  • Budgeting and auditing experience is desirable.
  • A strategic mindset, with experience in increasing occupancy and driving business growth.
