Do you want to be the leader of a NEW 4-Bed Adult Service in the Bridgend area?

I am recruiting a CARING and PASSIONATE Registered Manager to oversee a NEW 4-bed service that supports adults aged between 18 - 65.

Registered Managers work alongside the Area Manager and the Senior Leadership team, enabling the Support teams to deliver quality service to the people who they support. Registered Managers are also responsible for managing and building positive relationships with all stakeholders and putting our vision and values into action to deliver first-class service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
  • Oversee all aspects of the operation of the home, including staffing, compliance and health and safety.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that each resident is treated with compassion, empathy, and understanding.
  • Conduct regular reviews of residents\' needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Keep abreast of developments in mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, and ensure that the home operates in compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with mental health conditions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing mental health care, including the Mental Health Act and CIW standards.
  • A compassionate and person-centred approach to care.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
