An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the Registered Manager of an outstanding home for children with disabilities.
Caudwell House is a home for children with physical disabilities, associated learning difficulties and sensory and health needs. It provides both short breaks and full-time residential care. Staff will perform health procedure, intimate and personal care and moving and handling tasks which they receive training for and are competency assessed by health professionals.
The home is based in the market town of Southwell and has been providing a service for children since the 1950s.
We are looking for an inspirational, experienced leader who has the right skills, values, and knowledge to develop and lead a staff team to work with the most vulnerable children, ensuring their physical, emotional, cultural and health care needs are met.
Are you motivated, ambitious, caring and committed to working within a regulated, residential service for children with disabilities in line with the Service Plan and Quality Care Standards and Childrens Homes regulations 2015. If so, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.
You must have 5 years’ experience of working with children and young people within a residential setting and a minimum of 2 years working with children with disabilities.
We also offer enhanced pay for weekend, evening and Bank holiday working and a payment for on calls. You will also get a generous holiday entitlement above statutory requirements, and access to a range of different employee benefits. Additionally, there are extensive training and development opportunities, and you will receive a full induction and support to integrate you into the service. Regular, ongoing, supportive supervision will be offered by the Service Manager and a mentor will be provided when you join the service.
