Overview

Registered Manager - Learning Disability Services

Location: Multiple Sites across Lancashire & West Yorkshire

Salary: £40,000

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management in Social Care (or working towards)
  • Extensive experience in supported living and/or residential care services
  • Strong knowledge of learning disability services, including complex needs and behaviours that challenge
  • Proven experience in leading and developing care teams
  • Excellent understanding of person-centred, high-quality, and non-discriminatory care practice
  • Financial management experience, including service budgets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with service users, families, professionals, and staff
  • Confident in safeguarding, CQC compliance, and risk management
The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Hold and maintain CQC registration and oversee the safe delivery of services
  • Lead and support staff to provide high-quality, person-centred care
  • Manage service quality, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure effective care planning and safeguarding practices for service users
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring performance and development needs are met
  • Oversee rota management to ensure sufficient staffing levels
  • Handle complaints, incidents, and investigations, embedding lessons learned
  • Manage service budgets and resources effectively
  • Promote the rights, dignity, independence, and choices of people we support
