Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Children’s Residential setting, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Previous Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager is desirable.

Registered Manager – Children’s EBD Home – London – Up to £67,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead one of their Children’s Homes supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a full-time, permanent role offering 40 hours per week based in Ilford.

About the Role

  • Lead with passion and a commitment to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Successfully register with Ofsted and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Uphold and promote safeguarding and child protection policies, fostering a transparent and safe environment.
  • Guide and develop your team’s understanding of safeguarding practices.
  • Provide strong, inspirational leadership and effective people management.
  • Build and maintain a motivated, skilled, and engaged team, focused on continuous development.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets responsibly and strive to exceed performance targets.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Recognise and celebrate team and individual achievements.

What We’re Looking For

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted requirements.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a Children’s Residential setting within the last 5 years, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Previous Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager is desirable but not essential. We will consider good Deputies looking to step up
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred.
