Registered Manager

Children’s Complex Care Provider

£50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Remote – ideal locations are London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridge and Buckinghamshire.

Must be a Registered Children’s/Paediatric Nurse.

TRC is working on behalf of a successful provider of specialised complex care for children in London and the surrounding areas, with aim to source a Registered Manager to oversee all aspects of the service delivery, quality and compliance of the CQC registered business.

Responsibilities:
  1. To provide leadership to the administration, care and nursing staff and people management functions of the service.
  2. To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service and selling its services at the agreed prices.
  3. To maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider.
  4. Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
  5. Recruitment of staff and to induct new starters in accordance with the service’s policy.
  6. Lead, motivate and direct staff including conducting staff supervision and annual staff appraisals for all heads of department.
  7. Develop staff to their full potential ensuring succession planning for the service.
  8. Ensure multidisciplinary teamwork is embedded in the service.
  9. Oversee the provision of community care services, ensuring each client receives personalised and compassionate care according to their complex needs.
  10. Mobilise packages of care across Optimam Complex Care caseload.
  11. Respond to clinical emergencies and provide leadership in complex care situations.
  12. Analyse performance data and feedback to improve care services and client outcomes.
  13. Work closely with community teams, Integrated Care Boards (ICB), CHC nurses and CQC to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
  2. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and surrounding areas.
  3. Must be a Registered Children’s/Paediatric Nurse.
