Job summary

Kisimul Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a 4-bed adult residential home in Boston, Lincolnshire. You will lead the team, shape the service culture and ensure high standards of care and governance from day one.

You will manage daily operations, develop care plans, liaise with professionals and families, and drive person-centred support to adults with complex needs, ensuring safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or working towards).
• Experience with people with severe learning difficulties and complex needs is essential.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and safeguard residents in partnership with the staff team.
• Overall operational responsibility for the management of the site.
• Administer property, including accounts and expenditure.
• Develop, implement and monitor resident care plans with external professionals and families.
• Coach the team and promote independence within the home and wider community.
• Conduct performance reviews and supervision with senior care staff.
• Organise engaging activities and plan workload efficiently.

Adult Residential Registered Manager
Registered Manager – 4 Bed Residential Home
Location – Bramley Cottage, Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary - Upto £42,500, depending on experience

Due to our on-going success and growth, we have an exciting new vacancy for a Registered Manager for an adult residential home within our Adult Services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to grow together being part of opening a brand-new home from the very start. You’ll play a key role in shaping the culture, building the team, and setting the standards that will make this service an outstanding place to live and work.

As a Registered Manager, you will be key in helping your team to support young adults with complex needs. This is a challenging role, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job. About the position

You will be working independently as the Registered Manager and will report into the Operational lead. You will be responsible for ensuring the health, welfare and fulfilment of the people you are supporting.

You will be leading and inspiring a staff team to deliver exceptional and innovative care and support to the people within the home.

What will you be doing

• Lead by example and working in partnership with the staff team to safeguard our residents at all times.
• Overall operational responsibility for the management of the site.
• Accountable for the administration of the property including accounts and expenditure.
• Lead on the development, implementation and monitoring of the resident’s care plans to include liaising with the appropriate external professionals, agencies and families.
• Positively contribute to the development of the team, empowering them to promote independence within the home and wider community.
• Conduct individual performance & development reviews and supervisions with senior members of the care team.
• Support the care team to organising appropriate, exciting and engaging activities, trips and short breaks for the residents.
• Efficiently organise, plan and prioritise workload.

About You

What experience and qualifications do you need

• Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or working towards)
• Previous experience of working with people with severe learning difficulties and complex needs
• Proven capacity to manage and motivate a team of staff
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Adaptability and flexibility
