Job description

Registered Lodge Manager – East Ardsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Required to start January 2025

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional to join us as manager of our new purpose-built service providing residential and nursing care for up to 131 residents.

You will have an extensive nursing background with experience of clinical leadership and management of a service of this size. The right candidate needs to demonstrate a pro-active and responsive attitude to run and develop a successful service to achieve compliance and commerciality.

The role of manager has a wide scope making every day different, requiring you to multi-task, effectively communicate with your teams and develop a positive, open and transparent culture. You will be supported by our commissioning and regional teams to recruit the staff teams ready for opening the service in April 2025.

Duties of the role include:

  • Clinical leadership and governance.
  • Ensuring the home is compliant with all legislation and targets.
  • Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed.
  • Making sure everyone living in the home has an excellent quality of life.
  • The day-to-day management of the home, including staff teams.
  • Leading on assessments and referrals.
  • Managing risk within the home.

About You

The right candidate will have:

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic.

Qualifications and experience

For this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in an adult residential setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current legal responsibilities/standards for the service.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards in health and social care.
  • Experience in CQC inspections under current KLOEs.

Rate of Pay: Excellent salary and attractive bonus scheme.
