Harbour Healthcare Ltd is seeking a Registered Home Manager (Clinical) to lead Abigail Lodge Care Home, DH8 7NJ, delivering high standards of dementia and general nursing care within a 60-bed setting. You will actively develop your team, foster strong relationships with residents, relatives and the local community, and ensure CQC compliance with a Good rating in the last 3 years.
This permanent role is full-time in a family-run group across 40 homes.
Qualifications
- Qualified Home Manager with 3+ years in a Home Manager role and 60-bed experience.
- Experience managing dementia and general nursing in a person-centred care environment.
- Evidence of CQC compliance rated Good in the last 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Home to deliver high standards of care.
- Build relationships with residents, relatives and the local community.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and governance.

You will use your considerable expertise to develop and sustain the Home, actively leading and supporting your team to deliver the highest standards of care for our residents. With substantial relevant experience and outstanding people management skills, you will have the ability to build effective relationships with your team, residents, their relatives, and the local community.
We are looking for a Qualified Home Manager who has managed a minimum of a 60-bed home specializing in the care of Dementia and General Nursing and has experience in leading and managing teams within a Person-centered Care environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Operational background and have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Home Manager, and also be able to evidence CQC Compliance published rated good in the last 3 years.
