Overview
Our client is looking for a dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead a small nursing home for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced registered home manager (RMN or RNLD) who is passionate about improving clinical quality, supporting staff, and delivering person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong, compassionate leadership and ensure the highest standards of care.
- Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, and compliance with CQC regulations.
- Manage and develop the care team, offering guidance, training, and supervision.
- Maintain responsibility for budgets, staffing, and effective resource management.
- Drive service development, ensuring continuous improvement and person-centred outcomes.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
- Work 40 hours per week in a supportive environment where residents and colleagues can thrive.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Nurse with RMN or RNLD qualification (NMC pin required).
- Proven track record in a care home management role within the healthcare sector.
- In-depth understanding of mental health, learning disabilities, and complex care.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in budget control and business development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
