Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Respond promptly to and attend emergency calls within the prison.
2. Work in the prison reception, completing initial assessments and supporting new arrivals.
3. Hold nurse-led clinics, delivering high-quality care to prisoners with a range of healthcare needs.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients.

Requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
• Previous experience in a prison and valid clearance is a must (prison clearance is not provided).
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Recent ILS training is desirable.
