Job Description:

Shared Care Services Ltd is an established domiciliary Care company that has been providing person-centered care to children and young adults with disabilities in East London since 2004.

We seek to recruit a dynamic and strong operational leader with a proven care service management record.

Shared Care Services offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered manager to oversee a domiciliary care service specialising in caring for children and young adults with disabilities and complex medical needs.

  • You will be expected to grow the business, taking on new packages and developing the hours of delivery supplied.
  • Manage the effective recruitment, induction, and training of the office team (e.g., coordinator (s), supervisor(s), support staff, and care assistants). Identify ongoing training needs and ensure staff are up to date with current best practices.
  • Ensure there are sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff allocated appropriately to meet service needs at all times.
  • Implement company policy and procedures in relation to managing absence, disciplinary, capability and grievance matters
  • Provide information, guidance, and ongoing supervision to enable staff to effectively and safely carry out their roles. Carry out appraisals and monitor staff performance.
  • Ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively, such as covering calls directly or indirectly when care assistants are sick or absent.
  • Promote the business: Attend external meetings and represent the service in a positive manner
  • Participate in the growth and development of the business.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interact with CQC to ensure the smooth operation of the business
  • Delivering compliant care to all our partner relationships
  • Managing the daily operations of the business
  • Be an existing registered manager with the CQC with an excellent track record
  • You'll be the main point of contact with the Local Authority, GPs, healthcare professionals and service user's families.
  • You'll ensure that the domiciliary care service is meeting CQC requirements.
  • You'll ensure that you are meeting local authority contract compliance.
  • You'll be responsible for the recruitment and retention of staff
  • You'll be a strong leader of staff, able to support and motivate a team to all achieve the same objective.
  • Experience in growing a Domiciliary branch.
  • Great leadership skills.
  • Full Driving License as this role will require travel.
