Job summary

Esland is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our Brambles home, a Three bed service for 6 to 18-year-olds with complex needs. You will guide high‑quality care, drive compliance, and mentor a dedicated team in a nurturing environment.

Based in Melton Mowbray, you will ensure Ofsted readiness, manage regulatory expectations, and deliver positive outcomes for young people within a supportive, values-driven culture. This role is full-time, with enhanced development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (highly desirable)
• Minimum 2 years in a role relevant to residential care of children (essential)
• Minimum of 12 months in a managerial/senior/team leader/supervisory role within care
• In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations, such as Ofsted regulations (essential)

Location: Melton Mowbray

Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus up to £8,500

Hours: full time, Monday to Friday (permanent contract)

We’re looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager to join our dedicated team and lead one of our nurturing, high-quality EBD homes.

Our Brambles home is a Three bed service, offering a smaller, safe and nurturing place for 6 to 18-year-olds with complex behavioural, emotional, and social needs.

For This Role, We Need Someone Who Has

• Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential)
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (highly desirable)
• A minimum 2 years in a position relevant to residential care of children (essential)
• A minimum of 12 months experience in a managerial/senior/team leader/supervisory role within care
• In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice and regulatory expectations, such as Ofsted regulations (essential)
