Job summary

Superior Healthcare in Oxfordshire is seeking a Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN) to join our specialist home care team, delivering one-to-one nursing in a young client’s family home. We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN) to join our specialist complex care team, supporting a young client within their family home in Oxfordshire.

This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care in a one-to-one setting, helping to promote independence, wellbeing, and the best possible quality of life.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of a dedicated care team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering safe and effective nursing care tailored to the child’s individual needs
  • Administering medication in accordance with care plans and professional guidelines
  • Assisting with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect at all times
  • Supporting a range of clinical procedures and interventions as required
  • Working collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure outstanding care delivery
What We’re Looking For
  • Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN) qualification
  • A caring, professional, and reliable approach
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience within complex care is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration.
  • Supporting a Client with Cerebral Palsy.
  • To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
  • To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
Requirements
  • Valid NMC Registration – Children’s Nurse (RCN).
  • Experience in complex paediatric care.
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Full right to work in the UK .
