Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Tayside Children’s Hospital Ward 29, High Dependency and Children’s Assessment Unit for Registered Children’s Nurses to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for Paediatric nurses to further develop their skills and gain knowledge in a supportive environment.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register, with up-to-date clinical skills and experience. Preference will be given to those with experience working within acute paediatrics. We are seeking individuals who are committed to working in a fast-paced, person-centred environment, able to demonstrate excellent teamwork and the ability to work using their own initiative.

Requirements
  • Registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
  • Up-to-date clinical skills and clinical experience in paediatrics.
  • Preferably experience in acute paediatrics.
  • Committed to working in a fast-paced, person-centred environment with excellent team working skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
Employment details

Hours of work are: Day/Night rotation including weekends. Permanent and fixed term/secondment positions available.

  • Permanent posts available
  • 2 posts – 30 hours per week
  • 1 post – 34.5 hours per week
  • Fixed term/secondment for 1 year
  • 1 post – 23 hours per week
  • 1 post – 30 hours per week

Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
