Health Recruit Network in Sheffield seeks a Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a LD Home within a growing residential provider. You will oversee staff, safeguarding, and care plans while driving OFSTED readiness and exceptional outcomes for young people.

Ideal candidates have Level 3/4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Residential Childcare, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice with flexibility for rota requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff within a children’s residential setting.
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager (or similar role).
• Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare — or willingness to complete within 2 years.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to provide consistent, trauma-informed care.
• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviours.
• Flexibility to support the rota when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home team, supervise staff, and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and anti-bullying plans are up to date.
• Work with management to achieve OFSTED ratings of good/outstanding.
• Model professional, compassionate, trauma-informed care.

They currently have 9 homes acrossSouth Yorkshire. They are afast-growing, values-driven provider of complex care. They are here to transform the way children are supported — and we’re looking for a passionate, ambitious Registered Manager to lead one of our homes and help us deliver exceptional outcomes for young people.

What will you be doing:

• Be an inspirational leader to our Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers by supporting the induction of staff, ongoing training, managing performance, allocation of duties and responsibilities, managing shifts, record keeping and reports, budgets, petty cash, staff deployment and day to day supervision and oversight of the staff and young people
• Ensure that records such as care plans, risk assessments and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed
• Work with the management team to ensure that we achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding
