Main Purpose of the Role
  • Lead with Impact: Work side-by-side with our Managers to get the new service registered and operational, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Create Exceptional Care: Guide and inspire your team to meet the individual needs of our young residents, helping them thrive.
  • Support & Develop: Lead team supervisions and empower staff through development programs, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.
  • Be the Protector: Take the lead on safeguarding and child protection concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in your care.
  • Collaborate for Change: Partner with external professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for young people, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Oversee resources and financial records with precision, ensuring operational efficiency and best practice.
What We're Looking For
  • Leadership & Experience: You bring 1+ year as a Registered Manager and at least 2 years experience in a children s home, especially with young people with LD or EBD.
  • Trauma-Informed Approach: You understand the impact of trauma on young people and have experience managing challenging behaviours.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: You re confident in your knowledge of Children s Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards.
  • Organised & Approachable: Your leadership style is both organised and supportive, and you communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Compassionate & Committed: You re dedicated to providing care that goes beyond the basics and are always looking for ways to improve.
