Job description

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a trauma-informed, multi-bed residential home in Bridgwater. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a confident care leader who thrives in a values-driven, child-focused environment.

As the Registered Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the home's performance, compliance, and culture. You'll guide and inspire a team of care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, therapeutic care, and emotional support are delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations and regulatory compliance of the children's home

  • Drive continuous improvement aligned with Ofsted and statutory standards
  • Monitor occupancy and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience managing or deputising in a children's residential setting
  • Deep understanding of Ofsted regulations, care planning and safeguarding
  • Confident team leader with excellent communication and planning skills
  • Trauma-informed and child-centred approach to leadership

Full UK driving licence required
