Main Duties as a registered manager:
* Recruit, train, and evaluate employees as per agreed numbers.
* Assist in new employee orientation and induction.
* Train staff in Visiting Angels policies.
* Support staff development and compliance.
* Conduct regular supervision and appraisal for all staff.
* Generate referrals through local connections and marketing.
* Maintain contact with compliance and referral personnel.
* Conduct client selection and assessment.
* Ensure clients have meaningful lifestyles and personalized care plans.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and safeguarding measures.
* Collaborate during inspections and reviews, formulate action plans.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
* Implement comprehensive audit program and report results.
* Perform unannounced spot checks at clients’ homes to maintain care standards.
Other responsibilities as a registered manager:
Include fostering an inclusive culture, developing policies, contributing to planning, assessing performance, ensuring compliance, maintaining standards, improving care, and protecting clients’ rights. Other duties involve resolving challenges, attending meetings, promoting quality, fulfilling extra tasks, innovating care, advocating health promotion, pursuing development, and maintaining a positive image of Visiting Angels.
