We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Care Manager (RCM) within our residential service in Dereham. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £33,930 per annum.

In this role, you will oversee a six-bedded home providing personalised support to individuals with complex needs.

As a RCM, your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the residential service to ensure it meets organizational and CQC standards. You will lead a team of Deputy Managers and Support Workers, supporting individuals in their home and community to achieve their goals.

There will be another RCM in the adjoining services who oversees a Supported Living service and two independent flats.

Shift patterns will primarily be Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Your required skills and experiences:

• Prior experience of managing in a care setting and good knowledge & understanding of a Residential and/or Supported Living service.
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - or willing to work towards it; this is essential. Sense will fund this qualification.
• Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable.
• Experience of supporting people with Challenging Behaviour, Epilepsy or have experience with administering PEG, BNS, Buccolam in a professional/personal capacity is desirable.
