Job summary

Orchard Care Homes Ltd. is seeking an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to lead Castleford Lodge, a 60-bed nursing and residential home in Castleford. You will provide strong clinical leadership, develop your team and drive quality, governance and occupancy performance.

The role offers a salary up to £70,000 per year plus a performance bonus, a structured 12-week induction, DBS clearance, and opportunities for leadership development within the Orchard Healthcare Group.

Qualifications

• Registered Manager experience in a care home setting
• NMC nursing registration (Registered Nurse)
• Proven track record leading quality and governance in a care home
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
• Experience building strong teams and delivering staffing, occupancy and budget management
• Strong clinical judgment and risk management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Castleford Lodge with overall responsibility for quality, safety, culture and performance
• Build a strong, engaged team and foster a culture of support and accountability
• Keep residents at the heart of decisions and drive high standards in care, governance and clinical practice
• Ensure strong clinical leadership in partnership with the Clinical Deputy Manager
• Develop the Deputy Manager, nurses and wider leadership team
• Manage staffing, occupancy and budgets to drive performance and sustainability
• Build relationships with residents, families, commissioners and the local community
