Job summary

Medivet Group in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to support multiple practices across Stevenage, Stanstead Abbotts, Welwyn Garden City, Cheshunt and Enfield 24-Hour Hospital.

The role offers a four-day week (36 hours) with bank holiday and on-call commitments, sole charge opportunities, and a clear path for professional development within Medivet’s regional network.

Qualifications

• MRCVS registered and eligible to practice in the UK.
• At least 3 years of UK small animal experience.
• Able to work across multiple practices and sole charge when needed.
• Proficient in routine surgical procedures and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care through consultations and surgery.
• Create tailored treatment plans and provide excellent client communication.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, RVNs and support teams.
• Support the growth and development of colleagues and wider Medivet communities.
