Job summary

Medivet is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to support our network of practices across Stevenage, Stanstead Abbotts, Mansfield Cottage, Welwyn Garden City (Mill Green Road), Little Hadham, Potters Bar, Cheshunt, and Enfield 24‑Hour Hospital for bank holiday and on‑call commitments.

This role offers variety, flexibility and genuine career development with 4‑day pattern and ongoing CPD support. You will join a supportive clinical team across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• MRCVS registered and UK visa/registration current.
• At least 3 years UK small animal experience.
• Confident consulting independently and performing routine surgery.
• Willing to work across multiple practices and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding clinical care through consultations and surgery.
• Create tailored treatment plans and provide excellent client communication.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, RVNs and support teams.
• Support the growth and development of colleagues and Medivet communities.
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and patient care.
