Job summary

Wave Search is seeking a senior Utilities leader to drive major UK programmes with deep grid software and digital transformation expertise. The role focuses on business performance, account growth and high-level stakeholder engagement across large-scale portfolios.

The right candidate will bring extensive utilities domain knowledge, regional leadership experience, and a proven track record across Power Generation, Transmission, Renewables, Grid Modernisation and EMS/SCADA environments.

Qualifications

• Significant Utilities sector experience with grid software or digital transformation.
• Strong regional leadership background managing multi-functional teams.
• Proven ability to drive account growth, P&L and customer success.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of business performance, account growth and delivery oversight.
• Lead large utility programmes across the UK region.
• Manage multi-million portfolios within Utilities, Grid Software or Digital Transformation.
• Drive operational excellence, resource management and customer experience.
• Develop regional plans aligned to organisational objectives and governance.
• Build relationships with customers, partners and internal teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams across services, support and engineering.
• Coach and develop team members and liaise with global utilities leadership.
• Ensure communication, issue resolution and governance across programmes.
• Support account growth and customer success within Utilities.
