It operates in some strong niche markets and provides a range of services from its branch operations across the UK. Much of its work involves the complex supply of industrial plant and equipment to sites and operations across a wide geographic territory.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work across a wide region with multiple branches and a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will ensure the fleet operates safely and within the requisite legislation, while also taking the initiative on new projects. These projects will focus on new technology, cost-saving measures, route optimisation, and network development. Additionally, you will provide support to the broader business and serve as the in-house expert on logistics.

Candidate Profile

A background in plant or branch logistics would be highly valued. More importantly, you should have the ability to work across a large region with multiple internal customers, manage a complex P+L, control costs, provide logistics leadership, and help drive the overall performance of the business.
