Job summary

NHS England is seeking an outstanding Training Programme Director for Emergency Medicine (South London). The role works with the Postgraduate Dean to lead the delivery of a wide range of functions within the specialty, aligned to the NHS England mandate and Royal College standards.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of School, other Medicine TPDs, the LASE team including the PGMDE Business Manager, and other key departments to ensure doctors deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience as an NHS Consultant in Emergency Medicine.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record in training programme management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Regional Training Programme for Emergency Medicine.
• Lead recruitment to training posts and programmes.
• Manage postgraduate programme activities: assessments, progression, rotations, support, and remediation.
• Collaborate with the Head of School, LASE team, and Postgraduate Dean.
