Job summary

Weston College is seeking a Regional Trainer / Assessor - Computing to deliver teaching and assessment across accredited programmes, including work-based learning and apprenticeships. This full-time role (37 hours) is based on our Weston-super-Mare campuses.

You will prepare materials, conduct observations and reviews, and manage administrative tasks to support learner progress. Applicants should have Level 3 qualification or equivalent, and be capable of unsupervised work in demanding

• Educated to Level 3 (e.g. A-level, NVQ Level 3, etc.).
• Knowledge of Further Education curriculum, particularly work-based learning and Apprenticeships.
• Able to work unsupervised, demonstrating self-management under pressure and in demanding situations.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, and assess on accredited programmes, delivering learning aims via tutorials, workshops, observations, and assessments.
• Prepare all necessary materials to carry out teaching, training, and assessment.
• Assess candidate competence within College and work-based settings.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Day to day duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
