We are seeking a passionate Regional Trainer to lead the coordinating and delivery of training across our local home care branches.

As Regional Trainer you will be responsible for implementing our training strategy so that our staff members have the right skills and knowledge to achieve our company mission and values.

Responsibilities
- Carry out care professional induction and refresher training, creating and delivering training for any identified gaps
- Lead the delivery of training in our local branches and online
- Ensure training and assessments are complete for care professional safe to leave meetings
- Maintain and audit accurate and legible up-to-date training records in accordance with company policy
- Maintain training operations at the standard agreed with the Registered Branch Managers, Quality Assurance Team and wider company
- Complete train the trainer qualifications in subjects such as first aid, moving and handling, health & safety, medication and dementia care
- Take responsibility and seek opportunities for your own professional and personal development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training as required
- Arrange training courses with suitably qualified and approved external providers where appropriate and necessary
- Support, coach, mentor, develop and sustain a professional, skilled and motivated home care team
- Maintain and deliver fully up-to-date, relevant training to deliver safe and effective care
- Regularly seek feedback from all stakeholders and plan changes and improvements according to feedback
- Work flexibly alongside the care management teams to support the delivery of an outstanding care service
Requirements
- Ability to drive, have the use of your own vehicle and flexible to travel to our local branches
- Proven track record of working in a regulated care environment
- Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification desirable
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. CQC fundamental standards, health and safety)
- Previous experience working as a care trainer desirable
- Experience of supporting clients who have complex needs desirable
- Ability to complete train the trainer qualifications in subjects such as first aid, moving and handling, health & safety, medication and dementia care
- Some experience of / exposure to designing and delivering training content desirable
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
- Competent in basic IT
- Warm, patient and compassionate but also emotionally resilient and calm under pressure
- Enthusiastic and positive 'can do' attitude
- Commitment to providing and maintaining high standards of care and support
