Job summary
MGF recruiting a Regional Engineer based at the Rugeley Depot, covering the Midlands. You will link engineering and commercial teams, develop business relationships, attend meetings, understand projects in the region, and present to customers.
You will prepare and check temporary works designs, supporting on-site and design phases. The ideal candidate holds a BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering with 2–3 years in temporary works, and demonstrates engineering judgement, strong communication
Qualifications
- BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–3 years’ experience in temporary works design or on-site engineering.
- Ability to apply engineering judgement and take responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key link between engineering and commercial functions.
- Provide engineering advice and guidance at meetings.
- Understand projects and sectors of work in the region.
- Develop relationships with customers and individuals.
- Produce and check temporary works designs and drawings.
