About the Role:

As a Regional Technical Safety Specialist, you will support the local operation in delivering safety improvements, plans, and projects. You will own specific elements of the site safety masterplan. With a focus on machinery safety, you will help assess and improve the technical safety of operational equipment and infrastructure by applying Essity Standards and industry best practices.

What You Will Do:
  • Commit to our I Care journey for a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
  • Support sites in applying technical safety standards and loss prevention standards.
  • Assist in machinery safety and risk assessments.
  • Ensure safety performance levels of new machinery meet standards.
  • Implement and maintain a robust system for Process Safety.
  • Participate in safety audits and capability building.
  • Engage in regional safety activities and networks.
  • Support root cause analysis for incidents involving technical safety.
Who You Are:
  • University degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in building safety awareness.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%.
  • Excellent in execution, prioritization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.

Location:

The role can be based at any Essity manufacturing site in Europe.
