Following significant growth, we are looking for a Regional Tanker Manager to join our expanding team - someone who's ready to lead from the front.

A Day in the Life

  • Later, you could be out visiting sites, supporting a new driver with training, or meeting customers to discuss upcoming projects.
  • Afternoons might include reviewing costs, planning upcoming work with the logistics team, and making sure your region is running smoothly.
  • It's a varied, rewarding role where your leadership directly impacts team success, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
About You

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing daily operations across your region and ensuring compliance with regulating bodies covering transport, environmental and health and safety.
  • Training and developing 26t Tanker Drivers on the safe delivery of non-potable water and collection of liquid waste.
  • Managing your own profit centres - influencing recruitment, training, purchasing, and customer growth.
  • Supporting the team by covering driving duties when needed (for sickness, holidays, or busy periods).
  • Experience working within the Welfare/Waste industry is desirable.
  • Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card is preferable, however training can be given.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills - someone who leads by example.
  • Experience in managing operations, P&L or team performance within a hire or service environment would be highly desirable.
  • A safety-first mindset and great customer service skills.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
  • Up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • The option to buy up to 5 days additional leave.
  • Contributory Pension & Life Assurance.
  • Employee Welfare Fund (Company-funded social events).
