Job summary

United Reformed Church Retired Ministers’ Housing Society is seeking a Regional Surveyor with experience in social housing to join our small, dedicated team. You will manage repairs and maintenance across 260 properties, undertake surveys, assess homes and specify adaptations.

The role requires degree-level education with RICS or CIOB, strong IT skills, a full driving licence, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairs and maintenance across ~260 properties.
• Undertake property and stock condition surveys and assess homes.
• Specify adaptations and manage planned and reactive maintenance within budget and timescales.
• Prepare technical specifications and oversee contractors; conduct inspections and contribute to asset management strategy.
• Support building safety, compliance, energy efficiency, and retrofit initiatives.
