Job Opportunity: Regional Support Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Support Manager to join a well-established nursery based in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on management style and a genuine passion for working in early years.

Person Specification:

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or above
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Early Years Regulations and a track record of involvement in Ofsted Inspections

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting managers across multiple settings to ensure nursery operations meet regulations
  • Working closely with the director and managing KPIs
  • Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups
  • Managing site managers and ensuring facilities deliver effective service
  • Overseeing recruitment, induction, staff supervisions, assessments, and training needs
  • Supervising planning and preparation of activities in line with EYFS to support children's development
  • Ensuring staff understand and adhere to nursery policies and procedures
  • Managing budgets, staffing, payroll, banking, petty cash, invoices, and fee collection
  • Attending out-of-hours activities such as training, staff meetings, parents' evenings, and special events
  • Working during term time, approximately 40 hours per week
