Job summary

GCS Associates in Rayleigh is seeking a Regional Stock Controller to oversee regional stock levels, analyse data and ensure efficient inventory across the region. You will work with branches and suppliers to maintain stock levels and support purchasing and forecasting.

The role requires strong Excel and IT skills, with experience in inventory control or supply chain. Kerridge K8 experience is advantageous, offering progression and benefits within a growing company.

Qualifications

Role: Regional Stock Controller

Location: Rayleigh

Salary: £38,000 - £41,000 (DOE)

Monday to Friday

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Stock Controller to join an established and successful business based in Rayleigh.

The successful Regional Stock Controller will play an important role in managing and maintaining efficient inventory levels across a regional operation, ensuring stock availability meets customer demand while supporting purchasing, forecasting and overall supply chain performance.

About the Role

Working closely with the Branch Managers and suppliers, the Regional Stock controller will be responsible for monitoring stock performance, analysing data and ensuring inventory processes are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities of the Inventory Controller / Stock Controller will include:

• Managing regional stock levels and ensuring appropriate availability to meet customer requirements.
• Using ERP and inventory management systems to monitor and improve stock performance.
• Reviewing and maintaining stock profiles in line with changing demand and supplier capabilities.
• Working collaboratively with branches, suppliers and other internal departments.
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and overall inventory efficiency.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and be confident working with data, systems and spreadsheets. Previous experience within inventory control, stock management, purchasing or supply chain would be highly beneficial.

Strong Excel skills are essential, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and use information to support effective stock management decisions.

The successful Regional Stock Controller will demonstrate:

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent IT skills and confidence working with business systems.
• Experience within inventory control, stock management, purchasing or supply chain.
• Good understanding of stock control and inventory management processes.
• Experience working towards stock or service-level KPIs.Kerridge K8 experience would be advantageous.
