Regional Social Media Manager (Malaysia)
Are you passionate about social media and looking to make a strategic impact within a regional team? This role offers a unique opportunity to be embedded within the client’s in-house marketing team while maintaining your connection to the agency world at Greenpark Asia.
As the Regional Social Media Manager, you will serve as the primary social media expert for the client, advising on strategies and best practices, and collaborating with our agency team for ongoing development and learning.
This position involves active participation in our agency activities, including monthly learning sessions, training, townhalls, mentorship programs, fitness activities, and social events.
What The Job Covers
- Lead the development of social media strategies for the brand.
- Coordinate with internal project teams to share knowledge and maintain cohesive strategies across markets.
- Ensure local social teams execute projects to high standards, focusing on growth and engagement.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging platforms, competitor activities, and new technologies to refine strategies.
- Plan and execute regional content calendars, develop engaging themes and campaigns, and work with creative teams on content creation.
- Align social and content strategies with client’s marketing goals and brand voice in APAC markets.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to generate innovative content ideas.
- Oversee performance reporting and optimize social media efforts based on insights.
- Support the brand with additional social media activities as needed.
Who We Are Looking For
- 5-6 years experience in social media, community management, or influencer engagement.
- Proven experience with APAC/regional social media projects and brands.
- Background in client-facing roles related to social media strategy and content planning, preferably in an agency setting.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in marketing roles on agency or brand side.
- Experience with pharmaceutical, health, or dental brands is advantageous but not required.
