We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Social Media Content Executive to join our dynamic business development, marketing, and communications team at A&O Shearman Belfast.

Join our team as a Regional Social Media Content Executive. You will drive our regional client strategy, elevate our firm's social media presence, create engaging content, manage UK market channels, collaborate across departments, support paid media activities, analyze performance metrics, and stay ahead of industry trends. What you will do
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the UK social media calendar alongside the global social media senior manager, generating ideas for engaging content supporting the firm’s growth.
  • Design and deliver impactful campaigns with the marketing team to increase brand awareness, client engagement, and business development.
  • Advise stakeholders on content optimization, repurposing, and amplification for maximum reach.
  • Ensure all social content meets quality standards and aligns with the firm’s brand voice.
  • Manage posting and engagement on UK social media channels, including senior leader profiles, using Haiilo and other tools.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Engage with followers and build relationships to enhance reputation, including managing likes, shares, and comments.
  • Oversee the LinkedIn presence of the UK managing partner with strategic input from the global social media team.
Regional and wider social media activity
  • Support regional posting and engagement efforts.
  • Monitor competitor activity and key conversations in social media spaces.
  • Handle reporting requests and regular paid and organic social media reports.
  • Assist with Haiilo platform management and training to increase regional adoption.
  • Support issue monitoring and cover global content and campaigns when needed.
Paid campaigns
  • Develop and manage UK paid social campaigns focused on follower growth, lead generation, and campaign amplification.
  • Align regional paid activity with business development and client opportunities.
What you will have
  • Qualification in marketing, media relations, or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English writing skills, translating complex material into promotional copy.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • At least three years’ social media experience in an agency or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience managing organic and paid social media within an integrated marketing approach.
  • Experience working in a centralized social media team at a global level.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr).
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and juggle tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills and cultural confidence.
