A leading infrastructure services provider in Scotland is seeking a Health & Safety Team Leader. You will lead and mentor the team while ensuring strong SHE leadership across all projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior SHE leadership within infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and a NEBOSH diploma. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
The role involves leading and mentoring the Health & Safety team, ensuring their development, support, and accountability. It requires providing strong SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) leadership across all projects within the zone, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying risks. Responsibilities include overseeing audits, inspections, and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions. The position serves as the senior SHE representative in client engagements, participating in reviews and strategic meetings. Building strong relationships with operational leaders, subcontractors, and supply chain partners is key. Additionally, the role manages significant incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of effective learning outcomes.
