Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer in Chippenham to support three care homes. You will lead staff, deliver person-centred care, and perform clinical tasks such as taking blood pressure across multiple sites. Travel is paid per mile and flexibility for days/nights is required.

Applicants should have a Level 2 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, strong communication, and a proactive attitude towards continual clinical development and training.

Qualifications

• Level 2 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Willingness to complete regulatory and statutory training.
• Driving licence is necessary to support multi-site roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire colleagues to deliver person-centred care.
• Carry out clinical tasks (e.g., taking blood pressure) and monitor residents' care.
• Coordinate across three homes in the region and support staff.
• Complete risk assessments and care reviews for residents.
