Job Description:

Our industry-leading client is one of the world’s leading plant breeding companies. Nearly 5,000 employees in more than 70 countries generated net sales of around €1.68 billion in the fiscal year 2023/2024. A company with a tradition of family ownership, they have operated independently for almost 170 years. They focus on plant breeding and the production and sale of seed for sugarbeet, corn, cereals, vegetables, oilseed rape, and sunflower.

They are now seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover the East of the UK. This role will focus on delivering cross-crop sales operations by serving customers through optimal channels such as agencies and distributors.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Executing cross-crop sales activities for the Eastern UK region.
  • Promoting products to farmers, agronomists, trade representatives, and others to influence purchasing decisions in favor of hybrid and C2 seeds.
  • Analyzing market conditions to define action plans for the region.
  • Providing market feedback to support UK business strategies.
  • Attending open days, field events, trade shows, etc.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Designing sales campaigns with the Commercial Director and marketing team, including pricing and contracts.
  • Distributing trial/demo seed according to sales strategy.
Your Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Degree in agricultural sciences, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or agronomy.
  • Knowledge of the UK agricultural market and distribution channels.

  • 35-hour workweek, with seasonal additional hours (July–September)
