Overview
Regional Sales Manager - Racking and Mesh Decking
Responsibilities
- Field sales role predominantly selling mesh decks for warehousing and logistics applications
- Selling direct into large manufacturing, warehouse & logistics and industrial end users
- Managing and growing a small number of existing accounts (less than 10); focus on new business development
- Tasked with growing current revenue levels from circa £300,000 to £500,000-£750,000
- Ireland has been identified as a key growth area (currently 80% of the revenue is ROI, only 20% Northern Ireland)
- Sole field sales representative for UK & Ireland
- Technical point of contact for all customers
- Typically selling into senior buyers, procurement managers, fit-out contractors, system integrators, racking companies within manufacturing, industrial and warehouse/distribution environments
- Conducting site surveys and ensuring accurate project specifications on quotations
- Supported by the office who will do all quotes and pricing for you
- Following up on leads via Glenigan and NBS
Qualifications & Attributes
- Proven track record of field based sales within the warehousing and logistics/industrial industry sectors
- Appreciation of mesh decks or associated warehousing and logistics products such as racking
- Technically minded
- Autonomous in nature, able to run the area like your own company
- New business hunter
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to conduct site surveys
- Willingness to travel (probably UK once per month)
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in solution based sales on quality not price
- Able to manage and update a CRM system
- Self motivated with good time management / organisational skills
- Genuine 'get up and go' work ethic

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + £10,000-£14,000 commission
