Job summary

Zest Optical, in partnership with a leading eyewear supplier, is recruiting a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to cover the East Midlands. This role involves managing an existing portfolio of independent optical accounts and developing new business with practice owners and decision-makers.

You will present eyewear collections, drive revenue growth, visit customers across the region, and work closely with sales and marketing teams to support growth. A full UK driving licence is required.

Zest Optical is working in partnership with a leading eyewear supplier to recruit an ambitious and commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to cover the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing business with a diverse portfolio of eyewear brands and a strong presence within the independent optical market.

Working closely with independent optical practices across the territory, you'll be responsible for managing and developing an existing customer base while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Taking a consultative and relationship-led approach, you'll work closely with practice owners, Dispensing Opticians and key decision-makers to understand their businesses, present relevant eyewear collections and maximise commercial opportunities across the region.

Regional Sales Manager - Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of independent optical accounts across the East Midlands.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with practice owners and key decision-makers.
• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities throughout the territory.
• Present and sell a diverse portfolio of eyewear collections to optical practices.
• Drive revenue growth across both new and existing customer accounts.
• Regularly visit customers across the region to showcase new collections and provide ongoing account support.
• Analyse territory and account performance to identify opportunities for further growth.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and become a trusted commercial partner to practices.
• Represent the business at relevant exhibitions, trade events and customer meetings.
• Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to support overall business growth.

Regional Sales Manager - Requirements

• Previous experience within the optical or eyewear industry would be highly advantageous.
• B2B field sales, account management or business development experience preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive approach to developing new business.
• Confident building relationships with independent business owners and key decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a large geographical territory.
• Full UK driving licence.
