We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales team at Marsh. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Sales Leader to monitor, coach, and develop the regional sales team, while also championing sales initiatives and maintaining personal sales performance. The role focuses on the SME segment, prospecting companies with a minimum turnover of £3m upwards.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting the execution of the annual growth strategy within the region, in tandem with the Regional Sales Leader.
  2. Developing and coaching colleagues within the regional sales team, supporting their career development, including strategic risk-based prospecting and negotiation skills.
  3. Identifying new business opportunities and driving the sales funnel while achieving personal sales targets.
  4. Leading and supporting national and international growth campaigns in the region.
  5. Chairing regular sales meetings and promoting the correct use of pipeline management sales tools.
  6. Providing monthly data-driven management reports on performance and pipeline.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in a sales or client-facing role.
  • A proven record of achieving targeted results and understanding client business issues.
  • Technical insurance competency with a willingness to develop further.
