Regional Sales Manager - HVAC Valves | Midlands and North West (Field based) | Full Time | Standard office hours are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; however, flexibility is required to meet the demands of the role | £38,000–£42,000 (OTE approx. £48,000), negotiable depending on experience

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the HVAC industry, specialising in the design and production of high-quality valves for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. With a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, they strive to provide cutting-edge solutions that enhance the efficiency and performance of HVAC systems.

They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding their market presence, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth within the designated region. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting their range of HVAC valves, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Are you the right person for the job?

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the assigned territory
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including HVAC contractors, engineers, distributors, and consultants
  • Conduct regular visits to customer sites to understand their requirements and provide technical support
  • Address customer enquiries, provide technical assistance, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and technological advancements in the HVAC sector
  • Conduct product training sessions for customers, ensuring they are well-informed about the features and benefits of our valve products

Sales Presentations and Proposals:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key decision-makers, showcasing the advantages of their HVAC valve solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create persuasive sales materials and proposals

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities within the territory
  • Utilise CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including entering new markets and expanding the customer base
  • Work closely with the management team to develop targeted campaigns, focusing on expanding the client base

Interview Process

The first stage of the interview will be conducted with the Sales Manager via Microsoft Teams. If successful, this will be followed by an in-person interview with both the Sales Manager and Managing Director at the Peterborough office, after which a final decision will be made.
