REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – SOUTH WEST UK
Medical Device Manufacturer
Permanent Contract
OVERVIEW:
Our client is truly making a difference in the lives of patients around the world. They are a market leader in the marketing and manufacturing of proprietary medical devices within Structural Heart.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Sales Manager with a particular focus in Cardiology, to focus their exceptional skills in the South West UK location.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Establishes and maintains close relationships with new external stakeholders/clients and existing accounts by:
- Meeting regularly with clients and accounts to present and demonstrate company products and to explain their benefits.
- Identifying potential customers and introducing them to the products offered.
- Maintaining contacts with clients to monitor their satisfaction with products.
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction with products.
- Preparing customized drawings for clients needing custom kits or manifolds.
- Preparing and submitting pricing contracts to clients for products.
- Following up with clients to identify opportunities to increase sales volume and profitability.
- Resolving problems with clients regarding manufacturing or delivery problems, if they occur.
- Coordinating with other marketing and sales staff to ensure timely shipment of products, stay informed about new products, and gather feedback from customers.
- Making decisions within approved limits regarding product pricing to optimize sales and profitability.
- Preparing monthly sales reports and feedback on sales results, customer needs, and procedural improvements.
- Participating in sales training and planning meetings to learn about new products and marketing strategies.
- Maintaining high knowledge of company and competitor products, including their advantages and disadvantages.
- Setting and achieving personal sales goals, including sales volume, new contacts, and new client sales.
- Collaborating with the sales team to increase market share and improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Traveling as needed to perform sales duties with clients.
Skills/Experience Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in Medical Device sales.
- Cardiology experience is ideal; Structural Heart experience is a strong preference.
- Proven experience in selling to healthcare professionals (HCPs), such as clinicians.
- Must reside and be based in South West England.
