Regional Sales Manager – Building Products

The Role:

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected business in the building products sector, established for over 60 years. As Regional Sales Manager – Building Products, you’ll be responsible for exceeding £1.5m in sales during your first year by promoting a quality range of stone and paving products used across both commercial and residential schemes.

The role is predominantly field-based, covering the West Midlands area (Staffordshire, Shropshire, Birmingham, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire). In the role you will expect to carry out 10-12 face-to-face meetings per week with contractors, housebuilders, and groundworkers, building strong relationships at site and office level. Around 20% of your time will be merchant-facing, ensuring your product is actively supported and sold through that channel.

You’ll also work closely with internal sales, marketing, and specification teams taking qualified opportunities and driving them through to order. In addition to customer-facing activity, you’ll report directly to senior leadership, providing regular sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and performance updates.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Regional Sales Manager – Building Products role, you should have:

* B2B field sales experience within the construction industry

* A track record of selling to housebuilders, groundworkers, or contractors

* Experience of working with builders’ merchants or through distribution

* Strong organisation and forecasting skills

* High energy, self-motivated approach to business development

The Package for Regional Sales Manager – Building Products:

* £45,000 – £50,000 basic salary DOE

* £7,000 – £14,000 uncapped OTE (Year 1)

* Hybrid company car or car allowance

* 23 days holiday + bank holidays

* Pension scheme

* Healthcare cash plan
