Overview

Regional Sales Manager (Growth Leader)
Location: Manchester, UK (with international travel)
Company: Luxfer MEL Technologies
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week (On-site)

Luxfer MEL Technologies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Manager to guide our sales, business development, and product management efforts for Magnesium Alloys. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a well-established business while expanding into new markets with cutting-edge products and solutions. You will be responsible for guiding the strategy and activity to achieve the sales, business development and product management goals of the sector, bringing a positive approach and willingness to travel extensively within Europe and parts of Asia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver annual and quarterly financial targets aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and grow relationships with key customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure performance in sales, quality, and delivery.
  • Set pricing strategies and produce sales forecasts and strategic plans.
  • Represent Luxfer MEL Technologies at industry conferences and exhibitions.
  • Conduct performance assessments and reviews with team members.
  • Travel extensively across Europe and parts of Asia (50%).
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
Essential Qualifications / Experience

Education:

  • A Business, Marketing, or Science Degree.

Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience in Manufacturing / Engineering markets (particularly Metals sectors) is desirable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools is desirable.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong strategic focus and insight.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and processes.
  • Achievement-driven with exceptional time management and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
