The Opportunity

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our AutoCoding business. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will lead our business development team, drive sales opportunities, and respond to inquiries from existing and new customers. The role is based near our Cheshire site, with flexibility for remote work.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Attending customer meetings, presentations, and surveys on-site.
  2. Recruiting, training, and monitoring sales team performance.
  3. Managing full sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
  4. Developing strategic actions to expand market presence.
  5. Creating engaging sales plans and motivating the team.
  6. Researching industry trends and setting competitive pricing.
  7. Monitoring competitor activity and identifying new markets.
  8. Forecasting sales and managing the pipeline using CRM tools.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

  1. At least 5 years of senior sales experience.
  2. Experience selling complex solutions or business applications within manufacturing.
  3. Knowledge of the system integration industry or UK food industry is advantageous.
  4. Experience building and mentoring sales teams.
  5. Proven ability to create solutions and negotiate deals.
  6. Willingness to travel across the UK.
