Regional Sales Manager | South East England | Remote Working | Full Time | Working hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday | £50,000 - £55,000 + OTE of 65k

Our client is a family‑owned, mid‑sized company with a heritage of precision engineering and innovation. Their team is driven by a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence. They design and manufacture world‑class optical sensors and are proud of their Black Forest roots and strong reputation in the global automation industry.

They are looking for a Sales Manager (Automation & Vision Sensor Solutions) covering the South East region of the UK.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, or Essex area (with flexibility for the right person) and will be able to leverage the area’s potential to develop and grow key accounts.

Are you the right person for the job?
  • A technical and commercial background within automation or a related industry
  • Proven success in consultative, solution‑based selling
  • The ability to work independently and strategically, managing your own schedule and driving results
  • A customer‑first mindset with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
What will your role look like?
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Identify and win new business opportunities across sectors such as automotive, med‑tech, and intralogistics
  • Promote optical and vision sensor solutions, positioning the brand as a trusted technology partner
  • Plan and execute your own diary, visiting customers regularly and managing your admin from a home office
  • Drive sales growth through a consultative and technical approach, supported by UK and German teams
