Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Director Critical Power, Northern Europe to join the Data Center Power and Control (DPC) - Starline Team in Netherlands. Responsible for introducing, developing, and implementing the LDCS Critical Power strategy in the target market “Datacenter” in Northern Europe.
What Will You Do?
- Develop proactive lead generation and a solid pipeline of new and growth business.
- Utilize commercial expertise for product and business development.
- Develop and align a sales strategy for the Northern Europe region for “Critical Power”.
- Establish influential relationships with new customers, positioning LDCS Europe as a leader in grey space and Critical Power.
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships across European market sectors.
- Provide market activity feedback and assess potential impacts on key sectors.
- Identify partnership and alliance opportunities within the supply chain.
- Ensure Critical Power is specified on tender lists.
- Manage promotional activities to enhance business development profile.
- Collaborate regularly with the “LDCS IT-Infrastructure” team to foster multi-level engagement.
- Manage local pipeline to ensure quality data for forecasts.
- Conduct annual business planning and weekly forecasting.
- Contribute to process development and ensure adherence across sales teams.
- Oversee day-to-day team management and report regularly to the VP Critical Power of LDCS Europe.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, attend monthly sales meetings.
- Develop multi-channel sales strategies and regional sales channels, including selecting and managing representatives, setting geographic priorities, and developing contracts, pricing, training, and support programs.
- Implement end-user account strategies for data centers.
- Negotiate and administer contracts, prepare proposals, and deliver presentations.
- Monitor market trends, suggest new products/services, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Set and adhere to regional budgets.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of contacts and opportunities using Salesforce.
- Coordinate sales operations with other company departments.
- Assist with export requirements and regional trade receivables, coordinating with Credit and Accounts teams.
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience.
- Experience in strategic and tactical sales development.
- Location: Preferably based in the Netherlands.
