Role Overview

The Regional Sales Consultant is responsible for selling solutions to drive installation and service growth revenues within the Nu-Form Fire UK business unit.

The role involves proactive planning and sales activity to develop and maximize existing accounts and relationships, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include possessing solid product knowledge, surveying sites, preparing costs, specifications, and quotations that meet customer needs. For large or complex proposals, support is provided by an Estimator / Technical Bid Manager forming a bid team.

All activities, planning, and sales processes are managed through Salesforce.com. The primary objectives are pipeline growth and conversion improvement to achieve sales targets.

How You Will Do It

  • Lead Management: Generate leads through planning and executing business development activities. Qualify leads and collaborate across channels.
  • Account/Territory Planning: Identify target accounts and define SMART objectives.
  • Opportunity Planning: Fully qualify opportunities, engage in pre-bid reviews, and form bid teams for complex opportunities.
  • Survey, Configure, Price, Quote: Conduct site surveys and prepare proposals.
  • AMR Opportunities: Pursue new and expansion opportunities, ensure installation opportunities include AMR quotations, and retain existing AMR customers.
  • Presentations: Deliver technical and bid presentations to customers or influencers.
  • Opportunity Management: Manage sales pipeline proactively, record relevant information, and plan next steps.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Develop through coaching and experience.
  • Salesforce.com: Use as the primary CRM to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Performance: Prepare monthly Personal Success Plans, review sales performance, and set objectives.
  • Product/Technical Knowledge: Maintain and develop through training.
  • Risk Management: Adhere to internal sales processes, legal, compliance, and governance requirements, including safety policies.
